Miner Mike's Wild Ride
Mike the Miner must use bombs (and a little luck) to escape from a cave filled with monsters and hot lava!
Adventure through a dark world
Take daring leaps into the unknown
And don't blow yourself up in the process!
Controls:
A to move left
D to move right
W to jump
Click to throw a bomb (the bomb will be thrown towards your mouse)
Tips and notes
The monsters will only attack when their eyes are red. The ones with white eyes are safe! (For now...)
The monsters will spot you if you either get too close or throw a bomb too close
Bombs can explode on lava. (Convenient feature or lazy development?)
The bombs can damage you as well as the monsters so be careful where you throw them!
This game was made in 1 week for the Brackey's 2025.1 game jam
This game was updated to fix a buggy ground detection system. Only changes necessary for this bug fix were made.

Very fun game, the bomb mechanic is very interesting. Even would be fun to speed run using the bomb jump. Great game.

a fun first game jam submission!
you can just hold w against walls to walk up them, making bomb jumps kind of useless for that
and if you hold d and just spam bombs at the ground you become and unstoppable bomb dripping plane
